Transitioning to a career on the small screen, tennis pro Anna Kournikova<\/a> is all set to take over training duties on NBC’s “The Biggest Loser”.<\/p>\n

According to New York magazine, the Russian beauty will be the new trainer on the show’s 12th season while replacing Jillian Michaels.<\/p>\n

Talking about the decision to bring in Anna and let go of Jillian, executive producer Todd Lubin told Vulture, “We intentionally tried to not replace Jillian.”<\/p>\n

Lubin added that the weight loss focused series is “getting slightly away from just the tape measure, and getting into overall well being and health.”<\/p>\n

Todd also voiced his thoughts on Miss Kournikova, telling, “She grew up with very little in Moscow, pounding tennis balls every day when she was 5. That’s the drive she’s bringing to the show.”<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
