For the last 13 years, Rogelio Baena thought the boy born to his then-wife Mildred “Patty” Baena was his biological son.<\/p>\n

It wasn’t until a week ago, when Arnold Schwarzenegger announced that he had fathered a love child<\/a> with a household staff member, that Rogelio discovered the truth.<\/p>\n

Breaking his silence, Rogelio tells Entertainment Tonight<\/em><\/a> that the situation was a “betrayal” and that he had always considered Schwarzenegger \u2013 who employed Patty for 20 years \u2013 a “hero.”<\/p>\n

In the interview airing Tuesday, Rogelio says he has a message for the boy: “I am your father. That’s all.”<\/p>\n

It was not immediately clear how much interaction Rogelio has had with the boy. According to divorce papers<\/a>, Rogelio and Mildred \u2013 married for 10 years \u2013 split in 1997 just weeks after the child’s birth, and that Mildred filed for divorce in 2008.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
