PSV<\/a>\u2019s sporting director Marcel Brands has claimed that Tottenham<\/a> goalkeeper Heurelho Gomes<\/a> wants to return to his former club.<\/p>\n

Gomes experienced a rocky end to the season at White Hart Lane and despite Harry Redknapp’s reassurances that he remains the club’s No.1, the Brazilian has been linked with a summer exit.<\/p>\n

\u201cHe has let me know he is interested in a return to PSV,\u201d Brands told Voetbal International<\/em>.<\/p>\n

\u201cI have let him know I will look at what we can do for each other.<\/p>\n

\u201cHis contract only has one year left to run. There is not much more to say at the moment.\u201d<\/p>\n

The 30-year-old spent four years at PSV before joining Spurs in 2008, but recent costly blunders against Real Madrid and Chelsea have seen his place come under scrutiny.<\/p>\n

Tottenham have been linked with Birmingham goalkeeper Ben Foster as well as Aston Villa\u2019s Brad Friedel.<\/p>\n
