The murderers then set fire to his vehicle, a Mercedes Benz saloon.<\/p>\n<p>The police say they are hunting the killers, but do not yet know who they are. No motive for the crime has yet been suggested.<\/p>\n<p>This is the second murder of a Pakistani in Mozambique within the last few months. A man named Syed Manzar Abbas was gunned down on the Maputo coast road on 31 December.<\/p>\n<p>Nine months earlier Abbas had escaped a bomb attack against the luxury house he was renting in central Maputo. Abbas was the owner of the Al-Meca foreign exchange bureau. He is also reported to have had business dealings with the owners of the company J &#038; B Recording.<\/p>\n<p>One of the owners of J &#038; B Recording, Mohammed Jawad was murdered in front of a Maputo restaurant in 2004.
