PREMIERSHIP old guard, Dynamos – the second highest scoring team in the league — collide with Gunners, the second most porous team today at Rufaro but the two rivals have been at par in the league’s head-to-head statistics for the past three years.<\/p>\n

DeMbare, who net an average of 2,33 goals per match are the highest scoring team after CAPS United but come face to face with Gunners who have an unusual record. Chando Kupisa’s defence leaks like a sieve and concedes an average of 1,25 goals per match – the second highest in the league after Shabanie Mine and Shooting Stars (1,75).<\/p>\n

However, DeMbare and Gunners’ head statistics provide a bruising battle at Rufaro as none of the two sides have had an upper hand over the other in league matches for the past three years. The two sides have met six times in league matches in the past 36 months and DeMbare have managed to inflict pain on Gunners only twice.<\/p>\n

Chando Kupisa have also managed to beat DeMbare twice and two encounters have ended in stalemate.<\/p>\n

In DeMbare and Gunners’ last two league matches last year, they drew one-all on September 30 before Gunners won the reverse fixture 1-0. Gunners and DeMbare have mixed fortunes in the league this season as the Glamour Boys are riding in position eight and Chando Kupisa are in 15th place.<\/p>\n

Dynamos lost their last league match 0-1 against Zimbabwe Saints and coach Lloyd Mutasa still insists that the Glamour Boys will get their groove back. Gunners beat moneybags FC Platinum 3-0 in their last league at Maglas but remain one of the lowest scoring teams in the league -scoring an average of 0,88 goals per match. However, the demons normally come out of Gunners when they meet Dynamos.<\/p>\n

Gunners will for the second time be missing the services of Ashley Rambanapasi and Qadr Amini who are on trials in South Africa. Cliff Sekete and Ishmael Lawe should provide the goals for Gunners.<\/p>\n

Denver Mukamba, Devon Chafa and Rodrick Mutuma are expected to lead DeMbare in the absence of Archieford Gutu who is away on trials.<\/p>\n

Makepekepe travel to Barbourfields for a cracker against Highlanders. CAPS United drew two-all with FC Platinum in their last league match while Bosso lost 2-1 against Blue Ribbon.<\/p>\n

CAPS United will be missing the services of their chief striker Simba Sithole who is away on trials. Bosso will also miss the services of their sniper Njabulo Ncube, who was red-carded in the match against Blue Ribbon.<\/p>\n
