It is a former NOSA 5 Star \u201cPlatinum\u201d related mine, which has gained ISO 14001 Environmental Management System (EMS) Certification and currently implementing OHSAS 18001 Safety Management System.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div readability=\"16\">\n<p><strong>Role Purpose:<br \/><\/strong>The purpose of the role is to assist with planning, implementing and monitoring of effective methods in stakeholder management, land access, resettlement, compensation, and socio-economic development practices in a way that enhances community advancement and AAIL\u2019s reputation<\/p>\n<p><strong>Specific responsibilities will include:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Assist with the review and implementation of AGA management standards on stakeholder engagements<\/li>\n<li>Assist with the review and implementation of land access, compensation, resettlement and land use management standards<\/li>\n<li>Assist with review and implementation of AGA Management standard on socioeconomic development<\/li>\n<li>Assist with identification and planning of socio-economic development projects in host communities<\/li>\n<li>Implement and monitor socio-economic development projects in host communities<\/li>\n<li>Provide mentoring support to identified local businesses<\/li>\n<li>Undertake and report on compensation activities<\/li>\n<li>Assist with review, implementation and monitoring of Resettlement Action Plans<\/li>\n<li>Assist with annual review of crop rates<\/li>\n<li>Provide technical inputs on land access, compensation and resettlement issues on relevant Stakeholder Engagement platforms<\/li>\n<li>Undertake community mobilization activities for socio-economic development programmes<\/li>\n<li>Undertake community mobilization\u00a0activities for compensation and resettlement<\/li>\n<li>Liaise with other AAIL\u2019s\u00a0department\u00a0to organize sensitization programmes in communities forums<\/li>\n<li>Serve\u00a0as a gender focus person in the Community Affairs team<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div readability=\"7\">\n<p><strong>Required Skills or Experience<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<ul>\n<li>Bachelor\u2019s degree or equivalent in social\/community development-related discipline<\/li>\n<li>At least 3 years experience working with communities in a similar role<\/li>\n<li>Ability to communicate and work effectively with communities in planning, developing and implementing community\/economic development programs<\/li>\n<li>Ability to identify and solve community-related problems, including an understanding and sensitivity to cultural issues<\/li>\n<li>Ability to effectively communicate in Twi or Fanti<\/li>\n<li>Effective negotiation, mediation and facilitation skills<\/li>\n<li>Must possess a valid Ghanaian Driving License and should be able to drive<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div readability=\"10\">\n<p>Interested and eligible persons are to forward their applications with detailed Curriculum Vitae to the following address:<\/p>\n<p><strong><br \/>The Human Resources Manager<br \/>AngloGold Ashanti (Iduapriem) Limited<br \/>P.
