OWERRI \u2013 The Rescue Mission Transition Committee appointed by Imo State governor-elect, Mr. Rochas Okorocha, has rolled out a four-day programme of activities to herald the inauguration of the new administration in the state.<\/p>\n

According to a press release by Okorocha\u2019s Chief of Staff, Prince Eze Madumere, 26 May has been declared youth volunteer cleaning day of the entire Owerri Municipal as well as a \u2018thank you\u2019 luncheon for some particular groups.<\/p>\n

The committee also programmed a \u201cnight of worship and praises\u201d at Dan Anyiam Stadium Complex, Owerri, which is expected to end with a flurry of fireworks.<\/p>\n

Madumere also disclosed that two events, carnival float along major roads in Owerri municipality, live musical concert with different artistes and celebrities, will take the centre stage on Saturday.<\/p>\n

He also directed every autonomous community in the state to bring its cultural dance groups to the Saturday outing.<\/p>\n

Prince Madumere further revealed that the inauguration ceremony will hold in Dan Anyiam Stadium Complex on Sunday.<\/p>\n

He appealed to Imo people to grace the occasion.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
