Keane is adamant an opportunity may lie elsewhere and feels he could offer younger players advice.<\/p>\n
“I have only got one year left there at Tottenham so I am sure they will probably want to do business on me,\u201d said Keane.<\/p>\n
“The chances in the Premier League for me are fairly slim.<\/p>\n
“For me it is about enjoying my football and playing as much as I can, maybe going to a team where I can maybe help the younger players that are coming through.<\/p>\n
“I am not getting any younger but I will go back and see what happens.<\/p>\n
“Whether a Championship team would pay for me, that’s another problem, but I want to play in the Premier League for the next couple of years.”<\/p>\n
Keane\u2019s netted two goals for the Hammers in 10 appearances and one for Spurs in 13 games this term, however, the striker is hoping he can get back on the scoresheet in the upcoming games for the Republic of Ireland and lift his confidence at the same time.<\/p>\n
“I will just concentrate on doing what I do and hopefully score goals,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n
“It has been a frustrating season for me but that is the past now.<\/p>\n
“I will concentrate on these four games, take a break, switch off from football for a few weeks and then go back and see what happens.\u201d
