Wigan Athletic<\/a> manager Roberto Martinez<\/a> has revealed that he expects many transfer bids to come in for his players this summer and that the club may listen to offers if they are right.<\/span><\/p>\n

The Latics stayed in the Premier League with a final day victory against Stoke City but the Spaniard admits that it may be difficult to keep their players if the right deal is made.<\/span><\/p>\n

The club were able to fend off bids for star winger Charles N\u2019Zogbia in January but it could be harder to do the same this summer.<\/span><\/p>\n

He told reporters: \u201cFor me to say I am going to keep all the players would be foolish. Even Manchester United cannot say that. But it was a real statement in January when we didn’t sell N’Zogbia for a massive offer.<\/span><\/p>\n

“The club has to find the right time and price to sell players. If you have to do it, then it has to be with a real idea of how you will invest the money and go on to take the club to the next level.”<\/span><\/p>\n

The club looked like they were doomed early in the season after a poor start to the campaign but Martinez was full of praise for his young squad as they battled back in the second half of the season to secure their Premier League status.<\/span><\/p>\n

He added: “We are a young group and we don’t have the experience and the know-how in some areas of the game to get the points we deserve.<\/span><\/p>\n

“But our youth gives us a great attitude and that’s why the ended the season why we did. The players went to a different level in the last 15 games, and I feel we could play on for another 20 games now.”<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n
