Concentrate more on giving loans to people with agricultural projects,&#8221; said Bosenibamwe.<\/p>\n<p>Mutete Umurenge SACCO has so far registered 3,894 members with Rwf6.1m as share holding fee. They have also accumulated over Rwf40 million in savings.<\/p>\n<p>The governor donated a computer and solar energy panels to the SACCO management to help them improve their services.<\/p>\n<p>Speaking to the area residents, the District&#8217;s Mayor, Bonane Nyangezi, encouraged them to join the Umurenge SACCO to uplift their lives.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Take advantage of these good programmes the government has set up for you, like banks and Umurenge SACCOs to improve your wellbeing,&#8221; Nyangezi said.<\/p>\n<p>Some residents, who spoke to The New Times, testified how credit facilities have changed their lives.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Through the loan I got from Umurenge SACCO, I bought larger plot of land for potato farming and my daily income has increased.
