Umuahia \u2013 Governor Theodore Orji of Abia State has threatened to recover from those who bought houses in Adelabu Housing Estate and were yet to pay up.<\/p>\n

The governor also called for a change of attitude from people of the state, warning that his administration would no longer tolerate indiscipline.<\/p>\n

\u201cThose who buy houses in Adelabu Housing Estate and have not paid, we are going to give them deadline to pay up ; if they don\u2019t we recover them,\u201d Governor Orji warned.<\/p>\n

He also warned that it would be no more business as usual, insisting that there was going to be stringent discipline among the people, especially residents of Aba.<\/p>\n

He said: \u201cAba must not remain like that. Dirt in Aba must go. There must be discipline in Aba.\u201d<\/p>\n

Governor Orji assured the people that discussion was still ongoing over sharing of positions at the federal level and reassured them that Abia State would not be left out.<\/p>\n

He said: \u201cI will not betray the confidence you reposed in me. We are discussing with the President on what we should have and we are making a head way.<\/p>\n

\u201cLet nobody be deceived. There is politics everywhere but things are taking shape and our state can\u2019t be left behind.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe are in a haste to develop Abia. I have only four years and before you know it, it is over. So my resolve is to use every minute and hour. By May 29th, I will take a renewed oath of office and that renewed oath of office will change Abia.<\/p>\n

\u201cI am conscious of whatever I do. I am conscious of the fact that I will give account for whatever I do.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
