King Faisal FC owner Karim Grunzah has denied allegations of match-fixing and bribery against his side in their Premier League game BA Stars.<\/strong><\/p>\nThe Kumasi-based side managed a 1-0 away victory at the Sunyani Coronation Park on Wednesday to ease their relegation fears.<\/p>\n
But a staunch supporter of the relegated club, Raphael Cubagee has sensationally revealed he has audio and video evidence to substantiate allegations that the two sides played a match of convenience.<\/p>\n
The GFA is yet to launch an investigation into the matter but if proven could prove disastrous for the club which has struggled in the top flight this season.<\/p>\n
But the club\u2019s CEO has denied meeting up with officials of BA Stars and wants the matter investigated to clear the image of the club.<\/p>\n
\u201dI did not have any meeting with officials of BA Stars and if anyone claims they have video or audio evidence, they should bring it out for the whole world to hear it,\u201d Grunzah told Citi Sports.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe\u2019re a decent club with good morals and will not engage in such acts that undermined the growth and development of the game in Ghana. It\u2019s is a lie and a calculated attempt to water down on our victory.\u201d<\/p>\n
Faisal are two places above the relegation zone and victory over New Edubiase on Sunday will enhance their chances of staying in the top flight next season.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/p>\n
