KAREN<\/p>\n

\nThe \u2018Tails\u2019 Housemates got their first taste of nomination on Monday, 16 May on M-Net\u2019s Big Brother Amplified after the \u2018Heads\u2019 Housemates took their turn last week.
\nOnce everyone had had his or her say, including Head of House, Miss P, Nkuli, Luclay, Mumba and Kim, are up for eviction this Sunday.
\nA tensed Miss P made a last-minute decision to use her Head of House power to save Karen, who had received the most nominations and put Mumba up for eviction in her place.
\nIn a surprise decision, Luclay decided that he didn\u2019t want to nominate anyone. Big Brother warned him that he could find himself evicted on Sunday, but said he was \u201cfine with that\u201d.
\nHis decision not to make a nomination means he is automatically up for eviction this Sunday.
\nAlex nominated Karen and Nkuli, saying the two were his biggest threats. After Big Brother probed a little deeper, Alex said that even though Karen was fun, \u201cshe doesn\u2019t participate in chores\u201d and Nkuli \u201cdidn\u2019t pull her weight during the last task.\u201d
\nBhoke was surprised when she discovered that it was nomination time and took a deep breath before choosing Karen and Nkuli. She nominated Karen because she found the Nigerian \u201cvery defensive and attacking\u201d and Nkuli, because she hadn\u2019t been close to her.
\nDanny finally made his choice after ignoring Big Brother\u2019s summons to the Chat Room as he cleaned the patio furniture. He nominated Karen because he believed she was a strong character. He then nominated Kim because he thought that viewers would vote for her because she is so entertaining.
\nDespite having made peace with Luclay, Ernest nominated the South African because he felt that he would continue to bear a grudge and didn\u2019t feel safe around him. His second nomination went to Karen because he feels she is too insecure, which made her dangerous.
\nKaren dressed up specially for her first nomination session, before nominating Alex and Kim. She chose Alex because she felt she still didn\u2019t know much about him and Kim because she didn\u2019t know if she was fake or just taking time to \u2018come out.\u2019
\nLotus nominated Kim because she didn\u2019t \u201cgel with her\u201d and her fellow Tanzanian Bhoke in the hope that she would be left as the last Tanzanian standing in the game.
\nKim unknowingly returned the favour by nominating Karen, saying that she was destructive and always in the way. Her second nomination went to Lotus for her inability to listen and talking too much.
\nMumba nominated Miss P because, as Head of House, she could save herself. Her second nomination went to Ernest, because he was \u201cbecoming too loud and irritating.\u201d
\nNic nominated Lotus and Nkuli, the former, because he hadn\u2019t found any common ground with her even though they had kissed in the Jacuzzi and the latter because he felt she was too distant.
\nNkuli followed Mumba\u2019s thinking in nominating Miss P before nominating Bhoke because she felt the Tanzanian didn\u2019t \u201cadd much value\u201d to the House.
\nMiss P had the final say in the nominations picking Karen, \u201cbecause she takes everything lightly\u201d and Nkuli, because she feels the South African wouldn\u2019t give her the time of day.
\nThe winner of Big Brother Amplified, which is sponsored by Coca-Cola, will be named on 31 July, after 91 days in the House. The eventual winner will smile home with USD 200,000 dollars.<\/p>\n
