Central Regional Communications Director for the NDC, Mr. Ben Allotey Jacobs, says an aspiring presidential candidate of the ruling party, Dr. Ekwow Spio-Garbrah, has never come across to him as a serious politician, adding that he always has a good laugh anytime he hears him (Spio) articulating his views and putting on his grandstanding antics.<\/p>\n
Speaking on Peace FM\u2019s Kokrokoo Morning Show, the outspoken Allotey Jacobs further stated the CEO of Commonwealth Telecommunications Organisation (CTO) has the penchant of passing unnecessary remarks.<\/p>\n
\u201cWhenever I listen to Spio talk, I laugh because for a long time I have never regarded him as a serious politician\u2026He thinks politics is something you just get up and say anything that comes up in one\u2019s head\u2026Wear the red beret of the 31st so they push him to come and say anything,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n
To him, the former First Vice-Chair of the NDC is a bundle of contradiction who \u201cpisses in\u201d one minute and heaps praise on the Mills\u2019 administration the next second; all in the hope of being given a ministerial appointment.<\/p>\n
\u201cSpio keeps making unnecessary comments and hitting hard on the gov\u2019t\u2026 later he pretentiously praises Mills that he is doing well and is fulfilling his promises hoping he will be given a position and when they don\u2019t give him any position, he goes back to wear his red beret and make those unnecessary comments again; so I have never taken him serious,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
