Lagos \u2013 The Chief Executive Officer of Greenland Music Productions, Wale Adesanya, on Monday urged musicians to stick to originality in their works in order to distinguish themselves.<\/p>\n

Adesanya in Lagos said that many musicians lost uniqueness because they were in a hurry to come out with their albums.<\/p>\n

\u201cPeople would t listen and dance to your song if it is good and original,\u201d Adesanya said.<\/p>\n

He said that there were many talents in the music industry and that originality would distinguish any musician.<\/p>\n

\u201cIf you are original, one day, somebody will pick you out because music is a universal language which will always show someone\u2019s creative ability.<\/p>\n

\u201cAs far as you can express that language well enough through music, people will listen and note it,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n

Adesanya, however, expressed delight at the efforts of some musicians to include African rhythm in their music.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe music we listen to these days is quiet; it may contain a lot of hip-hop but there is an African language infused into it.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe world is a global village, so even abroad they are infusing African rhythm; that is where music is going to,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n

Adesanya urged the musicians to develop themselves through training and retraining as well as entertain constructive criticisms and take to corrections.<\/p>\n

\u201cIf you don\u2019t train yourself very well you, your music will end up being local champions,\u201d he said. (NAN)<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
