As President Goodluck Jonathan continues to grapple with intense lobbying to consider some personalities in the South-Eastern part of the country\u00a0 for the position of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Abia Citizens Forum has cautioned him to tread carefully.<\/p>\n

At its review of the just concluded general elections in Lagos, the group resolved that President Jonathan should appoint a credible Igboman as SGF.<\/p>\n

Its position came against the backdrop of speculations that the position may have been zoned to the South-East geo-political zone by the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP.<\/p>\n

Leader of the group, Jorome Eke-Kalu said: \u201cPresident Jonathan should make good his promise to assemble a good team. That is why we want only men of integrity who have no skeleton in their cupboards to occupy the SGF position.<\/p>\n

\u201cIn as much as we believe that the position has been reserved for Abia State because it delivered PDP candidates at all levels, the candidate must be a good person who is seen to have contributed to the success of the government in the state.<\/p>\n

\u201cAside from credibility,\u00a0 the person must have a proven track record. It is time<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
