After spending nearly five years to grow her dreadlocks, one of Ghana\u2019s sexiest actresses, Pascaline Edwards has spent less than an hour to shear off her locks, making her appear much younger and somewhat typical of the \u201cAfrican\u201d as it is believed.<\/p>\n
Most of the time, such actions are taken due to medical reasons, pressure from family or friends, and sometimes for photo shoots and movie appearances when it involves celebrities like Pascaline.<\/p>\n
But to the amazement of this reporter, Pascaline said she cut off her locks because she was \u201cjust too tired\u201d.<\/p>\n
More surprisingly, despite her admission that she was tired of the locks, she told Citifmonline.com that she is going to start growing them all over again.<\/p>\n
\u201cI just got tired. It has nothing to do with medical reasons or family pressure. I just put it off because I thought I have had it for too long and I need to start it all over again. It\u2019s just the fun of starting a new look and growing the lock all over again to get back to that level. That\u2019s the main reason.<\/p>\n
“I have gotten the length so I wanted to take it off and start all over again so it is not as if it is bad or something. I am going to start it all over again and that\u2019s why I cut it to the very root\u201d Pascaline told Citifmonline.com.<\/p>\n
Fans of the 40 year-old (can you believe it!)but young-looking actress, will certainly debate the merits of her latest move, especially on her looks and her acting career.<\/p>\n
She likely to receive plaudits from a section of her fans. But others will certainly be surprised and wish that she had not taken them off, especially those who saw her as a role model and desired to have a similar hairstyle.<\/p>\n
Pascaline said her new look has not taken anything away from her since she remains beautiful.<\/p>\n
“I have the beauty with or without my lock so it doesn\u2019t really do anything. Starting all over again is not a waste of my time because it\u2019s my hair\u201d she said.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
