\u00a0A Catholic Reverend Father based\u00a0in Ibusa Delta State has been kidnapped.<\/p>\n

The kidnapped Reverend Father whose name was given as Peter Chukwurah, the Parish Priest of Saint Monica\u2019s Catholic Church Ibusa was allegedly kidnapped, Sunday night, \u00a0at about 9pm while driving into his compound.<\/p>\n

Vanguard gathered that his abductors came with motorcycles and\u00a0laid ambush for him and\u00a0as he was driving in, the kidnappers accosted him by the gate and started shooting sporadically to scare people\u00a0away from coming to his rescue.<\/p>\n

Eyewitnesses told Vanguard that \u201chis car was badly battered with blood stain all over it. They (abductors) took away the car along with him but the car fell into a ditch which made them to abandon it and fled on motorcycles .<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, a woman was allegedly hacked to death by unknown persons in an uncompleted building in Ibusa, a few days ago, with her private parts chopped off.<\/p>\n

Delta State Police Public Relations Officer, PPRO, Mr. Charles Muka confirmed the two incidents and said\u00a0the command was investigating the incidents.<\/p>\n

According to him \u201cI\u00a0 can confirm the incidents. The kidnappers as I speak, are demanding for N10m\u201d, said the PPRO.<\/p>\n
