Stanbic Bank Ghana Limited has awarded its customers in the \u2018final draw\u2019 of the first phase of the \u2018Stretch Your Money\u2019 campaign.<\/p>\n
Kwabena Annin of the Adum Branch in Kumasi won the ultimate prize of GH\u00a210,000, which will be invested in a fixed deposit by the bank.<\/p>\n
Ataa B Felix of the Suame Branch also in Kumasi and S A Akyeba of the Fishing Habour branch at Tema placed second and third respectively and they were given GH\u00a27,500 and GH\u00a25,000 respectively to be invested in fixed deposits on their behalf.<\/p>\n
Commenting on the campaign, which geared towards rewarding clients, Benjamin Mensah, Head of Personal Banking of Stanbic Bank, said his outfit was poised to reward customers every year, noting \u201cWe have told ourselves that every year we will reward our customers by organizing some promotion.\u201d<\/p>\n
Explaining further, he said the \u2018Stretch Your Money\u2019 campaign was a demonstration of the growth of the bank.<\/p>\n
He added that the market response was good, as the customer base keeps rising with several calls coming through to the bank\u2019s toll free number.<\/p>\n
This, he noted, was a positive signal that the message went down well with Ghanaians.<\/p>\n
Bennet Frimpong, a Corporate Affairs and Marketing Executive, also commenting on the campaign, said the move was to instill investment and savings culture into Ghanaians, adding that this is to help customers know that the bank cares about them.<\/p>\n
The 22 branches of the bank launched their own individual market outreach events to raise awareness among people in their catchment areas on the need to cultivate the saving habit, as well as participate in the campaign. Over 9,000 entries were received for the draw.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
