Italian newspapers and media was on Monday dominated by news of Ghanaian midfielder Kevin Prince Boateng\u2019s Michael Jackson dance to celebrate AC Milan\u2019s title success.<\/strong><\/p>\nMajor sports newspapers Gazzetta dello Sport and Corrier dello Sport all dedicated some inches to the moonwalk dance by the World Cup star.<\/p>\n
In fact before then television and radio stations have also been debating whether the Ghanaian can make another career in the showbiz.<\/p>\n
Last month, Boateng told La Gazzetta dello Sport that he would \u2018dance the moonwalk dressed as Michael Jackson\u2019 if Milan won the Scudetto.<\/p>\n
Italian TV even took to splitting the screen to show Boateng\u2019s dancing compared to Jackson\u2019s actual routine.<\/p>\n
The clip has been uploaded onto Ghanasoccernet.com and became an instant favourite for Milan and neutral fans alike, with many expressing their surprise at how good Boateng\u2019s dancing actually is.<\/p>\n
Back in December, strange reports from the Milan dressing room emerged about new addition Kevin-Prince Boateng, with his neck tattoos and fiery temper, doing exceptional Michael Jackson routines behind closed doors.<\/p>\n
\u201cBoateng has a very beautiful voice,\u201d Massimo Oddo said.<\/p>\n
\u201cHe also knows how to dance,\u201d Mario Yepes added.<\/p>\n
\u201cKevin\u2019s specialty is the moonwalk.\u201d<\/p>\n
At the time, it seemed no one outside the dressing room would ever get to see this hidden talent, but last month, Boateng promised to share it with the public if Milan won the Serie A title.<\/p>\n
Well, they did it and, after Milan\u2019s 4-1 win over Cagliari at the San Siro, so did he.<\/p>\n
With the stadium lights dimmed and a spotlight on a make-shift dance floor featuring the Scudetto itself in one corner, \u201cBillie Jean\u201d played over the sound system as a man in Michael Jackson outfit emerged with a fedora pulled down over his face.<\/p>\n
He knew the moves and, for a 6\u20321\u2033 190 lbs. footballer, he pulled them off pretty well, with the moonwalk being the highlight.<\/p>\n
When he finished his routine, pulled off his hat and let out one of his primal screams to fully reveal his identity, his cheering teammates surrounded him as the crowd voiced their approval.<\/p>\n
With silverware being handed out across Europe these last few weeks, we\u2019ve seen a lot of great celebrations, but nothing like this.<\/p>\n
Maybe next year he\u2019ll do an Elvis routine. Or a Miley Cyrus.<\/p>\n
