Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) House of Assembly candidate\u00a0 for Oredo West Constituency, Edo State, Mr Raymond Enogieru, in the April 26 poll, yesterday,\u00a0 expressed his desire to contest the result of the election in court.<\/p>\n

Enogieru, who rejected the result\u00a0 of the election, told newsmen in Benin City that there was evidence of\u00a0 electoral mal-practices in the constituency.<\/p>\n

According to him, \u201chaving gathered reports by my party agents present at the various polling units on the day of election, we are\u00a0 aware of the actions of thugs and inducement\u00a0 of the electorate\u00a0 with money. I have resolved to challenge the outcome of the election result of the declared winner by INEC at the election tribunal.<\/p>\n

\u201cThat the result which was declared in his favour\u00a0 circumvents the wishes of our people of Oredo West Constituency who massively voted for me in the state assembly election\u201d.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
