Doha \u2014 The Foreign Minister of Burkina Faso and Joint United Nations-African Union Mediator for Peace in Darfur, Djibril Bassol\u00e9, has affirmed his keenness to continue as a mediator for the peace process at Doha Forum seeking solution for the conflict in Darfur.<\/p>\n

This came when the Qatari State Minister for Foreign Affairs Ahmed bin Abdallah Al-Mahmud received Bassol\u00e9 here and congratulated him on his appointment as the Foreign Minister for his country.<\/p>\n

The meeting reviewed the efforts being exerted to complete the peace process in Darfur along the arrangements underway to hold a plenary meeting of stakeholders scheduled to be convened in Doha during 18-23 of the current May.<\/p>\n
