Manchester City<\/a> midfielder David Silva<\/a> has urged his club to try and sign Cesc Fabregas<\/a> in the summer.<\/span><\/p>\n

The Arsenal captain’s future was the subject of intense speculation last summer and with Arsene Wenger\u2019s side once again finishing the season without a trophy Silva wants Mancini to bring him to Manchester.<\/span><\/p>\n

Manchester City\u2019s qualification for the Champions League next season is expected to see Roberto Mancini\u2019s team being linked with many mega-money moves and David Silva has made no secret of who he would like his manager to sign.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cIf only he Fabregas could come, it would be great, marvellous,” Silva said as reported by The Sun<\/em>.<\/span><\/p>\n

“We know what he’s achieved as a player and he has a lot of experience of playing in England.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

Spain and Arsenal are renowned for their passing style of football and Silva says Fabregas would be the perfect addition to bring that same mentality to Eastlands.<\/span><\/p>\n

“He likes to keep the ball and that’s how we like to play. He treats the ball as his friend and I get on with him well,” he added.<\/span><\/p>\n

“I know him from the national side, so it would be great.”<\/span><\/p>\n
