Manchester United<\/a> have rested Edwin van der Sar for the crucial game against Blackburn<\/a> which could see Sir Alex Ferguson\u2019s side secure their 19th<\/sup> league title.<\/span><\/p>\n

If United fail to win today the title could go down to the last day when they host Blackpool at Old Trafford.<\/span><\/p>\n

Darren Fletcher came through a reserve game in mid-week but today\u2019s game has come too early for the Scottish midfielder.<\/span><\/p>\n

Meanwhile, Blackburn starlet Phil Jones was forced off against West Ham with a back injury though has recovered in time to start against the league leaders.<\/span><\/p>\n

On-loan Rovers striker Mame Biram-Diouf is ineligible to face his parent club so Jason Roberts is given a starting berth.<\/span><\/p>\n

Blackburn will be looking to avenge the previous meeting when United won 7-1 at Old Trafford with Dimitar Berbatov scoring five, though the omens are not good for Steve Kean\u2019s men who have not beaten Sir Alex Ferguson’s side in nine meetings.<\/span><\/p>\n
