On the pitch sometimes I have not behaved badly, but wrongly.<\/span><\/p>\n\u201cI respect everybody but \u00adsometimes when I lose the ball I go back to the other player, but sometimes I lose the ball and I don\u2019t follow him.<\/span><\/p>\n\u201cNow I\u2019m starting to do all these things because Mancini is very important for me.<\/span><\/p>\n\u201cI have to listen to him and if I want to become a big player, I need to do stuff I don\u2019t like.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\nBalotelli has a reputation on and off the football field for being a \u2018bad-boy\u2019, but says he is nothing like the trouble-maker he is made out to be.<\/span><\/p>\n\u201cDo you know how many times I park the car and there is a queue of cars and they give a parking ticket only to my car?<\/span><\/p>\n\u201cI don\u2019t know if it is because they want to talk bad about me. I don\u2019t know why. But one day it\u2019s going to change, I hope.<\/span><\/p>\n\u201cI think I\u2019m a normal guy of 20 that loves football, loves his family, loves his friends.<\/span><\/p>\n\u201cThe one thing I have different from the other guys my age is I have money, but money is not really important for me.<\/span><\/p>\n\u201cMy life was difficult but the more important thing is when your family and your friends love you and stay with you \u2013 that\u2019s the really important thing.<\/span><\/p>\n\u201cPeople say: \u2018Oh Mario, he thinks only about money and he\u2019s lazy\u2019 and everything. Because I drive a Maserati. But if you are 20 and you can buy a Maserati you\u2019re going<\/em> to buy one, aren\u2019t you?<\/span><\/p>\n\u201cI don\u2019t think I\u2019m bad because I own a Maserati or a Q7 or because I have 10 parking tickets outside San Carlo.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\nDespite failing to hit the heights expected of him this season Balotelli believes if he gets a full pre-season under his belt and stays injury free he will be much better next season.<\/span><\/p>\n\u201cThis year was not really good because when I came here I was injured, then I played some games, and was injured again so I\u2019ve been a bit unlucky.<\/span><\/p>\n\u201cBut next year I will try and I\u2019m going to improve my performance.”<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\nSee more here:
