{"id":423030,"date":"2011-05-12T19:23:52","date_gmt":"2011-05-12T19:23:52","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.ghanamma.net\/2011\/05\/12\/major-infrastructure-projects-implemented-in-sheib-sub-zone\/"},"modified":"2011-05-12T19:23:52","modified_gmt":"2011-05-12T19:23:52","slug":"major-infrastructure-projects-implemented-in-sheib-sub-zone","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.ghanamma.com\/2011\/05\/12\/major-infrastructure-projects-implemented-in-sheib-sub-zone\/","title":{"rendered":"Major Infrastructure Projects Implemented in She&#8217;ib Sub-Zone"},"content":{"rendered":"<div readability=\"31.1919683602\">\n<hr class=\"thin clear\" \/>\n<hr class=\"thin clear\" \/>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.shabait.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Shabait.com<\/a> (Asmara)<\/p>\n<p>12 May 2011<\/p>\n<hr class=\"thin clear\" \/>\n<p>Major infrastructure development projects worth over 550 million Nakfa have been implemented in She&#8217;ib sub-zone, Northern Red Sea region, disclosed Mr. Girmai Mebrahtu, Administrator of the sub-zone.<\/p>\n<p>Pointing out that previously only few villages were grouped in Wekiro and Dige in the sub-zone previously, he said that 14 villages have presently been regrouped in 8 administrative centers in which social service facilities could be made available with less expenditure.<\/p>\n<p>Reports disclosed that 11 schools ranging from pre-school to secondary level, 21 wells, 44 water stations, 9 reservoirs and 33 Km-long pipelines have been put in place. 95% of the inhabitants are in a position of obtaining potable water supply. Furthermore, adult education programs are being provided in Gedged, Wekiro, Tiluk and She&#8217;ib.<\/p>\n<p>Mr. Girmai stated that the health center and station in Mensheb and Wekiro respectively are rendering commendable service, and that people&#8217;s awareness regarding modern health care has been enhanced. He added that the construction of Serejeka-Shebah road is playing vital role in the development of the sub-zone.
