Tottenham<\/a> midfielder Sandro<\/a> will not be moving away from White Hart Lane in the summer, according to the player\u2019s agent.<\/span><\/p>\n

The Brazilian midfielder has enjoyed a strong second half of the season after initially struggling in the Premier League following his \u00a38 million from Internacional.<\/span><\/p>\n

Luiz Paulo Chignall, the player\u2019s agent, told tuttomercatoweb<\/em>: \u201cWould Sandro like to play in Serie A? Yes, but for now he’s good for Tottenham.<\/span><\/p>\n

“Reading the newspapers I see that many clubs are interested in Sandro, like Inter Milan, AC Milan, Roma and Real Madrid.<\/span><\/p>\n

“But I have not received any proposal and no one has talked to me.<\/span><\/p>\n

“I am a bit worried, because no intermediary is entitled to speak on behalf of Sandro. My concern is that someone has spoken on behalf of Sandro, not being authorised to do so.”<\/span><\/p>\n

The midfielder has impressed his teammates with his recent performances in the league as well as in Europe, becoming a fans favourite in the process. Captain Michael Dawson believes he\u2019s now a vital part of the team.<\/span><\/p>\n

“Sandro’s performances in the Champions League were great and he certainly makes our job a lot easier,” Dawson told the club’s official website.<\/span><\/p>\n

“He sits just in front, wins balls, breaks play up, tracks players and we all know now he can score goals after that strike at Chelsea. He’s a top, top player.<\/span><\/p>\n

“He’s also a great lad to have in and around the club. He’s still learning English but he’s a full part of the banter and everyone loves him in the changing room.”<\/span><\/p>\n

Sandro\u2019s performances have also earned him the praise of boss Harry Redknapp who\u2019s pleased with the way he has adapted to the Premier League.<\/span><\/p>\n

“Sandro is emerging as a top player,” Redknapp said after Tuesday’s 1-0 defeat at Manchester City.<\/span><\/p>\n

“He’s come into the English game and his performance against City’s strong midfield was excellent.”<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n
