The Get Atta Mills Endorsed (GAME) has dismissed as \u201cfalse and preposterous\u201d a statement by Mr Herbert Mensah that GH\u00a290 million is to be spent on President John Evans Atta Mills\u2019 re-nomination campaign.<\/p>\n
A statement signed by the spokesperson for GAME, Barbara Serwaa Asamoah, reminded all NDC faithful that Mr Mensah had openly stated that he was not a member of the NDC. According to GAME, the Mills campaign would continue to focus on giving cogent reasons why delegates must endorse Professor John Evans Atta Mills as the NDC\u2019s candidate for 2012 at the party\u2019s delegates July Congress.<\/p>\n
\u201cThese reasons include Mills\u2019 leadership style, his trustworthiness, his integrity, his modesty and his unifying personality. Also, President Mills is delivering massively on his 2008 campaign promises. \u201cHe is committed to the development of Ghana, he abhors corruption and has fellow-feeling.\u201d<\/p>\n
The statement challenged Mr. Mensah of the Nana Konadu Campaign Team to produce the tapes, which he claims contain evidence of the alleged campaign budget.<\/p>\n
The GAME Team said if they had the ability to raise a fraction of the reported amount for their campaign they would use it to support the President\u2019s ongoing efforts to, among other things, eliminate
schools under trees and construct additional health facilities in the rural areas.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
