{"id":422732,"date":"2011-05-12T10:35:44","date_gmt":"2011-05-12T10:35:44","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.ghanamma.net\/2011\/05\/12\/minority-accuses-gov%e2%80%99t-of-hypocrisy-over-stx-project-delays\/"},"modified":"2011-05-12T10:35:44","modified_gmt":"2011-05-12T10:35:44","slug":"minority-accuses-govt-of-hypocrisy-over-stx-project-delays","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.ghanamma.com\/2011\/05\/12\/minority-accuses-govt-of-hypocrisy-over-stx-project-delays\/","title":{"rendered":"Minority accuses gov\u2019t of hypocrisy over STX project delays"},"content":{"rendered":"<div>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"caption\" src=\"http:\/\/www.ghanamma.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/05\/219aba69020x20242.jpg.jpg\" border=\"0\" alt=\"Osei Kyei Mensah Bonsu, Minority Leader\" title=\"Osei Kyei Mensah Bonsu, Minority Leader\" align=\"left\" \/>The Minority in Parliament has rubbished government\u2019s claims that it cannot be blamed for the delays in the commencement of the STX housing project.<\/p>\n<p>The Mills administration has taken a lot of flack for the delays in the start of work, four months after an elaborate groundbreaking ceremony.<\/p>\n<p>Water Resources, Works and Housing Minister, Alban Bagbin has rejected suggestions that government is responsible for the delay, maintaining that consultations are still ongoing to ensure the final project is acceptable to all.<\/p>\n<p>Minority Leader Osei Kyei-Mensah-Bonsu however tells Joy News this vindicates the minority\u2019s stance that government rushed in the execution of the project.<\/p>\n<p>He said the government must be honest and accept responsibility for the situation instead of seeking to absolve itself of responsibility.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIf the government is saying they cannot be blamed, who should be blamed?
