{"id":422655,"date":"2011-05-12T08:31:27","date_gmt":"2011-05-12T08:31:27","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.ghanamma.net\/2011\/05\/12\/cpp-elects-constituency-executives-in-yendi\/"},"modified":"2011-05-12T08:31:27","modified_gmt":"2011-05-12T08:31:27","slug":"cpp-elects-constituency-executives-in-yendi","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.ghanamma.com\/2011\/05\/12\/cpp-elects-constituency-executives-in-yendi\/","title":{"rendered":"CPP elects constituency executives in Yendi"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><div readability=\"64\">May 12, 2011<br \/>\nYendi (NR), May 12, GNA &#8211; The Yendi Convention People Party (CPP) has elected a nine-member executives to steer the affairs of the party towards the 2012 General Election.<\/p>\n<p>At the close of nominations Alhaji Kassim Norga; Chairman, Mallam Seidu Suhuyini; Vice Chairman, Alhaji Amadu Alhassan James; Secretary, Mr Osman Sheetu; Organiser, Mrs Mohammed Awulatu; Women Organiser, Mr Baba Oldman; Education Secretary, and Mr Osman Mohammed Youth Organiser were elected unopposed.<\/p>\n<p>Mrs Abideena Mariama; Second Women Organiser and Mr Abukari Abdulai, Treasurer, were also elected unopposed.<\/p>\n<p>The Northern Regional Chairman of the Party; Alhaji Ahmed Tijani said he was overwhelmed by the concern and commitment of the CPP supporters who remain undaunted by the struggle ahead to win the General Election.<\/p>\n<p>Alhaji Tijani urged the supporters to eschew petty squabbles in order to forge ahead in unity and love to win the elections.<\/p>\n<p>He asked them to go the grassroot level to win more supporters for the party.<\/p>\n<p>The Yendi Constituency Secretary, cautioned those contesting for the Regional Executive slots to be committed to the Party when elected.<\/p>\n<p>GNA<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p>Read more here: <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p> May 12, 2011 Yendi (NR), May 12, GNA &#8211; The Yendi Convention People Party (CPP) has elected a nine-member executives to steer the affairs of the party towards the 2012 General Election.
