MINISTER of Science and Technology, Prof. Mohammed Ka\u2019Oje Abubakar, Wednesday, said the nation was embarking on the review of the National Science, Technology and Innovation, STI, policy to achieve the developmental agenda as articulated in the Vision 20-2020, seven-point agenda and the Millennium Development Goals, MDGs.<\/p>\n

Abubakar, who spoke at the meeting of experts and key stakeholders on the review of the national science, technology and innovation policy in Lagos, said the imperative of achieving national development agenda through STI-driven efforts demanded an effective policy instrument to generate the desired momentum for development.<\/p>\n

Noting that the Federal Government was poised to reposition the country to rank among the topmost economies of the world, Abubakar said government had formulated different policies and design programmes to assist the nation in pursuit of sustainable development.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
