Muntari arrived in January and Sunderland had not won on their travels since then.<\/p>\n<p>In fact, his expensive presence was not enough to prevent the team from slumping to nine defeats in the 11 matches prior to this rare success.<\/p>\n<p>Bruce, relieved with a win that finally kills relegation fears, said: \u201cThe problem with Sulley was that he came to us having not played for six months.
