As the euphoria of winning a continental ticket settles in, Warri Wolves chairman Pinnick Amaju is aiming to reposition the club, with a view of pursuing a purposeful campaign in the local and continental turfs next season.<\/p>\n

Mr. Amaju disclosed that Wolves will be seeking for sponsorships from the corporate world and also appoint a general manager.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe have an enormous task in 2012. Since government cannot do it alone we would be seeking for sponsorship, we are working on it and we expect good results when the times comes.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe are also looking to appoint a general manager who will bring the club\u2019s administration to world standards,\u201d said Mr. Amaju who is also Delta Sports Commission chairman.<\/p>\n

Warri Wolves earned their right to go continental, after coming third in the Nigeria Premier League. They will play in the CAF Confederations Cup, in which they participated in 2010, but lost out in the first round. Mr. Amaju stated that they will take all the necessary steps to go far this time around, but they are also praying that good-luck will follow them.<\/p>\n

\u201cWolves will get the best of preparations. Apart from this we would pray that luck will follow us in our games.<\/p>\n

\u201cGood-luck is inherent in football and we need it. Sunshine Stars and Enyimba with all their preparations weren\u2019t that lucky to be in the final even though they played well.\u201d<\/p>\n

He added that Wolves would sign new players and retain its technical crew, because they have performed well in bringing the club to a third finish despite the initial constrains.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
