He added: \u201cI don\u2019t care what profession you are in, it makes a difference playing in today\u2019s modern Premier League consistently in the team.<\/p>\n
\u201cPlaying is the most important thing about my future. I won\u2019t lie about it, it has been an up-and-down four years for me at Aston Villa.<\/p>\n
\u201cIt will be a big decision to make but the most important thing is about playing football. You have to review the whole situation of how your career has panned out for the whole four years.\u201d<\/p>\n
The ex-West Ham man also refuted any suggestion that money would play a part in his next career move.<\/p>\n
He added: \u201cI want to stress, it my future has never been financial for me.<\/p>\n
\u201cI am going to be 27 next week and it is about playing football. I am entering the so-called peak years of a professional footballer and I still believe the best is yet to come from me.<\/p>\n
\u201cIt is going to be a difficult decision and not an easy decision to make but you have to do what is best for your career, your aspirations and your family.<\/p>\n
\u201cI am not a footballer for the show of just being a footballer. I am serious about my profession and about what I want to achieve and do.\u201d<\/p>\n
Finally, Reo-Coker praised Houllier, who is continuing to recover from a heart problem.<\/p>\n
He said: \u201cI owe him tremendously. I owe him a lot. He has restored my belief and confidence since he has come in.<\/p>\n
\u201cHe is a great manager and I believe personally he has got us playing great football.\u201d<\/p>\n
