Harry Redknapp<\/a> has admitted that Tottenham<\/a> need a “miracle” if they are to finish in the top four this season.<\/p>\n

Spurs, who are currently six points behind fourth-placed Manchester City with three games to go, face Roberto Mancini’s side at Eastlands on Tuesday.<\/p>\n

In the three games remaining, even two victories for Spurs and as many losses for City may not be enough for the north London outfit to finish fourth, as Roberto Mancini’s men have a significantly superior goal difference.<\/p>\n

And now Redknapp has all but conceded defeat in the race to fourth place, as he is quoted by The Mirror<\/em> as saying: “I think City have got a fantastic squad. They\u2019re in a great position.<\/p>\n

“Six points ahead, better goal difference by miles. It will take a miracle.”<\/p>\n

The former West Ham boss also hinted that it will be difficult for Spurs to finish in the top four next season.<\/p>\n

“As I\u2019ve said a million times, who is going to drop out?” he said. “I don\u2019t think Man United are going to drop out of the top four.<\/p>\n

“Chelsea, I don\u2019t think they\u2019re going to drop out.<\/p>\n

“Arsenal have been there every year. Who is going to come out?<\/p>\n

“City, they\u2019re going to spend another \u00a3200 million probably this summer. Liverpool are going to improve.<\/p>\n

“So it\u2019s very hard to get into that top four, very, very difficult.”<\/p>\n
