The agent of Fiorentina midfielder Marco Donadel, Davide Lippi, has confirmed several clubs are interested in signing his client, including Genoa.<\/p>\n

Donadel looks unlikely to sign an extension to his contract that expires this summer at the Florence club meaning the former Italy Under-21 international will be able to leave on a free transfer.<\/p>\n

The defensive midfielder has been a first-team regular this campaign, making 26 starts in Serie A for Fiorentina, who currently sit in ninth place.<\/p>\n

Several clubs have shown an interest although Lippi has stated one club is very keen, although the team in question remain unnamed.<\/p>\n

“There is a side who have shown even more interest in Donadel than Genoa,” Lippi confirmed to TMW.<\/p>\n

“There is nothing concrete, but we’re calm about the situation. A lot of clubs are interested in Marco Donadel.”<\/p>\n

Donadel joined the Tuscan club in 2005 from Sampdoria and is likely to feature in Sunday’s home fixture against Bologna.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
