NEW YORK\u00a0(CNNMoney) — U.S. stocks were set to move higher at the open Monday as commodity prices climb, and after all three indexes spent most of last week in the red.<\/p>\n

Dow Jones industrial average (INDU<\/a><\/span>), S&P 500 (SPX<\/a><\/span>) and Nasdaq (COMP<\/a><\/span>) futures gained between 0.4% and 0.6% ahead of the opening bell. Futures measure current index values against perceived future performance.<\/p>\n

On Friday, stocks posted moderate advances<\/a>, as a steep sell-off in the euro dampened U.S. investor enthusiasm about a stronger-than-expected jobs report.<\/p>\n

For the week, all three indexes closed down more than 1%, while commodity prices — especially silver and crude<\/a> — declined sharply. Investors battled through a news-heavy week, capped by rumors that Greece was abandoning the euro.<\/p>\n

Investors will continue to keep a wary eye on Greece, as reports indicate the debt-ridden country may be considering another bailout to fund its debts.<\/p>\n

Companies<\/strong><\/a>: Sysco (SYY<\/a><\/span>, Fortune 500<\/a>) and Tyson Foods (TSN<\/a><\/span>, Fortune 500<\/a>) will release quarterly financial reports Monday before the bell.<\/p>\n

Analysts surveyed by Thompson Reuters expect Sysco to report earnings per share of 41 cents, on $9.5 billion in revenue. Meanwhile, Tyson is expected to report $7.5 billion in revenue and earnings per share of 43 cents.<\/p>\n

Economy:<\/strong><\/a> There are no major economic reports due out Monday.<\/p>\n

World markets:<\/strong><\/a> European stocks were all lower in morning trading, as investors renew fears over Greece’s debt problems.<\/p>\n

Britain’s FTSE 100 edged lower 0.7%, the DAX in Germany fell 1% and France’s CAC 40 slid 1.2%.<\/p>\n

Asian markets ended the session mixed. The Shanghai Composite edged up 0.3% and the Hang Seng in Hong Kong rose 0.8%, while Japan’s Nikkei slid 0.7%.<\/p>\n

Currencies<\/strong><\/a> and commodities:<\/a><\/strong> The dollar was little changed against the Japanese yen and the British pound, but dipped against the euro.<\/p>\n

Oil for June delivery gained $2.82 to $100 a barrel.<\/p>\n

Gold futures for June delivery rose $15.30 to $1,506.90 an ounce.<\/p>\n

Silver futures for July delivery rose $1.81 to $37.10 an ounce.<\/p>\n

Bonds<\/strong><\/a>:<\/strong> The price on the benchmark 10-year U.S. Treasury slipped, pushing the yield up to 3.18%.<\/p>\n
