\"\"<\/a>Alhaji Ismaila Ibrahim, National Secretary of the Nasara Club, a wing of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), has advised Ghanaians irrespective of their religious, ethnic and political backgrounds, to uphold the principles of peace and unity.<\/p>\n

He said such values facilitated national development.<\/p>\n

Alhaji Ismaila, who gave the advice when he met a cross-section of the youth at Akim Oda Old Town Zongo in the Birim Central Municipality, said no nation could truly develop in the midst of political, religious or ethnic conflicts.<\/p>\n

He called on political parties to eschew backbiting and \u201cstruggle\u201d for leadership, which he said retarded progress.<\/p>\n

Alhaji Ismaila appealed to leaders in the Zongo communities to help to educate the youth so that they would not be branded as agents of destruction.<\/p>\n
