WARRI \u2013 The governorship candidate of the Mega Progressive Peoples Party, MPPP, Chief Afro Buikeme has asked\u00a0 the Chairman, Delta State Independent Electoral Commission, DISEC,\u00a0 Justice Jaho (rtd), to resign for allegedly\u00a0 being a card-carrying member of the People Democratic Party, PDP, arguing that he will\u00a0 not be able to conduct\u00a0 free, fair and credible local government area election in the state.<\/p>\n

He also called on the security agencies to make the protection of Youth Corp members, a priority whenever they are being engaged in future services.<\/p>\n

Chief Buikeme, who spoke in Warri,\u00a0 yesterday, threatened to go to the electoral tribunal to seek justice over what he described as the \u201celectoral injustice\u201d in the April elections in the state.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
