Manchester City<\/a> striker Mario Balotelli<\/a> has a reputation of being a difficult character and has admitted he does not even listen to his parents, but one man whose opinion he does value is Patrick Vieira<\/a>.<\/span><\/p>\n

Balotelli has frustrated many players and managers in his short career and has previously highlighted Roberto Mancini as one of the few people that he will listen to.<\/span><\/p>\n

However, he has now revealed that his French team-mate is another person whose views he respects.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cIf you tell me things one or two times, I understand because I am not stupid,\u201d he told The Sun<\/em>.<\/span><\/p>\n

“Patrick Vieira is one of the people I listen to most here in Manchester but I don’t even listen to my parents sometimes.”<\/span><\/p>\n

Manchester City face Stoke in next weekend’s FA Cup final at Wembley and the 20-year-old says the Potters are like no team he has ever faced before.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cI have never come up against a team like Stoke before,” he added.<\/span><\/p>\n

“They have a certain way to play and it is really difficult to play against them.<\/span><\/p>\n

“But the quality of our team is almost the same as Inter Milan and before games at Inter, we always said we only needed to think about us.<\/span><\/p>\n

“It is the same here. We don’t have to think about Stoke, United or Chelsea. We should just stay calm and do our job.”<\/span><\/p>\n
