Palermo coach Delio Rossi insists that his side are fully focused on their clash with Bari on Saturday evening and are not thinking about their encounter with AC Milan next week.<\/p>\n
The Sicilian side will take on the current Serie A leaders on Tuesday evening in the second-leg of their Coppa Italia semifinal. Having held Massimiliano Allegri\u2019s side to a 2-2 draw in the away leg last month, Palermo will be confident of progressing to the final of the competition.<\/p>\n
However, club tactician Rossi says that he will not rest players against already relegated Bari and told reporters on Friday: \u201cI realize there is an enormous sense of expectation around the Coppa Italia, but we have to be focused only on Bari.<\/p>\n
\u201cFrom Saturday evening onwards, we will think about Milan. One thing is for certain: our team will not hold back, especially as anyone who doesn\u2019t perform against Bari cannot suddenly rediscover their form three days later.<\/p>\n
\u201cOf course I will field a logical line-up taking into account the fact we\u2019ll play again on Tuesday, but there\u2019s nothing to say there won\u2019t be doubling up.\u201d<\/p>\n
Rossi is also philosophical about his future at Palermo having been reinstated as the tactician in early April after being sacked in the end of February.<\/p>\n
The Italian\u2019s contract runs until the end of the campaign but he is not worrying about his future in Sicily beyond the summer.<\/p>\n
\u201cI have already said my future will be built upon my present,\u201d said the 50-year-old. \u201cI think of tomorrow\u2019s game and will not spend time denying something that hasn\u2019t happened.<\/p>\n
\u201cIf you get fired, then you certainly can\u2019t continue your work. At the moment that\u2019s the last of my worries, as I am focused on Bari.\u201d<\/p>\n
Palermo is currently eighth in Serie A, nine points off the final European spot with just three more rounds of matches left in the championship this campaign.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
