Champions League<\/a> ties between the clubs this season.<\/p>\nUnited beat the current Premier League champions 1-0 at Stamford Bridge before sealing the Blues’ Champions League fate with a 2-1 victory at Old Trafford to progress to the semi-final of the competition, where they cruised past German side Schalke.<\/p>\n
Despite setting up a final against Barcelona, Nani is adamant that he and his team-mates need to focus on ending Chelsea\u2019s Premier League dreams on Sunday.<\/p>\n
Nani was quoted as saying by Sky Sports:<\/em> “The most important game now is Chelsea not Barcelona.<\/p>\n“It will be very difficult. But we are at home and we have had good experiences against them.<\/p>\n
“We know if we want to win the game we have to play with confidence. The results against them in the Champions League were very good. I think that gives us the psychological advantage.”<\/p>\n
Victory for Sir Alex Ferguson\u2019s men would take them six points clear of Chelsea with only two games remaining, a gap which would be almost impossible to overturn according to the Portugal winger.<\/p>\n
“We just have to concentrate on our football and winning the game. If we do that then everything will be fine,\u201d added the 24-year-old.<\/p>\n
“If we win this one then it is a great advantage for us. It is nearly over then. We have a great chance.”<\/p>\n
Victory would leave United needing just one point from their remaining two fixtures against Blackburn and Blackpool to win the title.<\/p>\n
And now Nani hopes they would be able to follow up that potential success in the Champions League final at Wembley.<\/p>\n
He added: “It is very important to be all together. It would another fantastic story for this club if we win at Wembley.”<\/p>\n
