LAGOS\u2014Members of the Jonathan-Sambo for Presidency in the United States of America (JOSA-USA), have congratulated President\u00a0 Goodluck Jonathan and Vice-President Namadi Sambo on their victory at the polls, stressing that their election had\u00a0 been internationally- acclaimed to be the freest, fairest and most credible election Nigeria has ever had.<\/p>\n

In a statement jointly signed by Jimmy Asiegbu, National Coordinator and Comfort\u00a0 Echikwa Usukumah, respectively, the group said they were\u00a0 poised to partner with the new administration of President Jonathan. They said they were willing to provide strategic policy advice when needed.<\/p>\n

\u201cJOSA\u2013USA pledges its support to the President\u2019s administration and calls on all Nigerians to rally round them.\u00a0 We like to reassure President\u00a0 Jonathan and Vice-President Sambo that we are\u00a0 behind them as they lead our country, Nigeria.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe use this opportunity to thank all those who answered our appeals and campaigned\/voted for President Jonathan.
\u201cWe are\u00a0 also using this opportunity to appeal to the President-elect to extend his olive branch to all those who contested the presidential election to assist him in building a better Nigeria. JOSA-USA believes that we are all winners as there are\u00a0 no losers.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe are\u00a0 proud of our association with President Goodluck Jonathan\u2019s Campaign Organization right from the moment in 2010 when he announced his intention to run for the presidency.<\/p>\n

Today, JOSA-USA is even happier to have been active participants in the campaign that has brought about a resounding victory for President Goodluck Jonathan.<\/p>\n

The victory of President Jonathan, according to the group\u00a0 is non_sectional, adding that\u00a0 Nigerians in all the regions voted overwhelmingly for him and his deputy.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
