Early this morning “DWTS” contestant and Pittsburgh Steelers star receiver Hines Ward<\/strong> was involved in a situation that resulted in him being removed from the passenger’s seat of a friend’s car and handcuffed at gunpoint<\/a>.\u00a0 Deets inside…<\/p>\n

Although he was not arrested, NFL\u00a0baller Hines Ward found himself on the receiving end of a LAPD gun this morning.\u00a0 So how does a seemingly nice footballer with a great two-step end up pulled over by the LAPD?<\/p>\n

TMZ reports that Hines was riding with a friend in a Honda Civic when police pulled them over at 2am.\u00a0 They were stopped because the car they were in had been reported stolen earlier that night.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Police pulled the car over, drew their weapons, and ordered Hines and his friend out of the car and placed them in handcuffs.\u00a0<\/p>\n

THEN, police got the full story.\u00a0 It turns out, the driver had reported the car stolen after an incident with a valet parking attendant earlier, but forgot to tell the cops she got her car back.\u00a0 WOMP.<\/p>\n

So after police realized that the driver was the owner, she and Hines were released.\u00a0 The police say Hines was very understanding.\u00a0<\/p>\n

SMH….I still have issues with them being ordered out of the car with LAPD guns drawn on them.\u00a0 With Hines being a Black man and them being the LAPD…..anything could have happened.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
