Vanessa Feltz has never been the most stylish of women, but now it seems her daughter Allegra might be following in her mother’s footsteps.<\/p>\n

The pair appeared to have been taking fashion advice from Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie as they arrived at a charity dinner in London last night.<\/p>\n

While Vanessa, 49, poured her curves into a tight asymmetric dress, Allegra opted for a pink and white frilly number which did little to flatter her figure.<\/p>\n

And their accessories didn’t do much to boost their outfits either, as Vanessa chose to team her dress with peep-toe boots, making her legs appear a lot shorter than they are, while Allegra opted for bridal-like ivory shoes and matching bag.<\/p>\n

However, the mother-and-daughter duo appeared unaware of their sartorial faux pas, and smiled widely for photographers as they posed outside Nobu in Park Lane\u00a0 following a Tomodachi charity dinner to raise money for the Japanese Disaster Appeal.<\/p>\n

The pair are often photographed attending various events together, and Allegra, 24, whose father is Vanessa’s ex-husband Michael Kurer, has an incredibly close relationship with her mother.<\/p>\n

The pair, who got engaged in December 2006, had been planning to marry in 2007 but then delayed the wedding due to the economic effects of the credit crunch.<\/p>\n

Now, Ben says the pair are planning to have married by the end of the year, revealing: ‘We are hoping to get married at the end of the year and are also planning to adopt a baby.’<\/p>\n

In a recent interview, former Phats and Small frontman Ben said the pair are looking forward to expanding their family further.<\/p>\n

He said: ‘One of Vanessa\u2019s biggest regrets was that she didn\u2019t have any more children.<\/p>\n

‘And I would love to be a dad so we are putting the plans in motion to adopt after our wedding.<\/p>\n

‘Whether it will be from the UK or abroad we don\u2019t yet know.<\/p>\n

‘I\u2019m Nigerian so I would like to adopt from Africa but I don\u2019t think we\u2019ll be turning into a British Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie just yet.’<\/p>\n

Other celebrities to attend last night’s charity dinner included Eliza Doolittle, who looked pretty in a girly pink and grey minidress, and Beverley Knight.<\/p>\n

Doolittle has been working hard to promote her self-titled debut album and most recent single Mr Medicine.<\/p>\n

Talking recently about her ambitions for the future, Doolittle said: ‘I\u2019d love to be able to sing around the world and be able to travel with my music.<\/p>\n

‘I do want to be myself but I look up to someone like Carole King. Everyone covers her songs and she\u2019s respected.<\/p>\n

‘That\u2019s something that I aim for and it\u2019s something to work towards.<\/p>\n
