Michael Essien’s agent has rejected speculation linking the Chelsea midfielder with a summer move to AC Milan.<\/p>\n
Tuttosport had earlier claimed that Milan was keen on the 28-year-old Ghana international after CEO Adriano Galliani said on Tuesday he was building a squad to win the Champions League for next season.<\/p>\n
Clarence Seedorf, Massimo Ambrosini and Andrea Pirlo all have deals which expire in June.<\/p>\n
However, despite voices linking Essien with a San Siro shuffle, agent Fabien Piveteau said his client would remain at Chelsea.<\/p>\n
“There is nothing true. I have not had any contact with Milan, and the player is happy with Chelsea where he intends to stay for the next three years,” the agent told Tuttomercatoweb.com.<\/p>\n
“Everyone knows he is happy with Chelsea, and Chelsea are happy with him.”<\/p>\n
Goal.com recently revealed how Essien was likely to stay at the Stamford Bridge club.<\/p>\n
Essien has played 30 games for the Blues this term. Chelsea takes on Manchester United this weekend and the club sits just three points behind the league leaders.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/p>\n
