A film crew member who claims to have had a secret relationship with Jennifer Aniston’s has spoken out about their time together.<\/p>\n

Brian Bouma, 40, who was pictured leaving Courteney Cox’s home with the 42-year-old in 2008, says he was pursued by the star on the Canadian set of Love Happens that same year.<\/p>\n

‘As a lighting technician, you learn not to approach the talent,’ he tells the latest issue of Star magazine. ‘But she approached me.’<\/p>\n

‘I was only on set for seven hours. But the old quote says it best: “She had me at hello”.<\/p>\n

‘I had a crush on her. It was impossible not to. Jennifer knocked my socks off.’<\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/p>\n

Bouma, who is 6ft 3in, says she invited him to Los Angeles for 10 days and he accompanied her to best friend Courteney’s Oscars party in Beverly Hills.<\/p>\n

He is also understood to have visited her on the set of Marley & Me in South Florida.\u00a0<\/p>\n

He insists the perception of the star as a lonely singleton is off the mark.<\/p>\n

‘Not true, not true whatsoever,’ he says.<\/p>\n

‘Jen is not the person people think she is. All that stuff about her being lonely is just ridiculous.’<\/p>\n

He says the actress ultimately called off their liaison because she prefers bad boys.\u00a0<\/p>\n

‘She did tell me that I was too “Mr Pure”‘.<\/p>\n

Jennifer went on to date singer John Mayer on and off before he ended the romance in late 2008.<\/p>\n

Bouma had no hard feelings about their split, saying: ‘She’s a lovely, smart woman and a fabulous person’.<\/p>\n
