Katy Perry, the 26-year-old American pop singer, claims her husband Russell Brand has never lied to her. Katy Perry, who married the controversial British comedian in India last year, claims the couple’s marriage is founded on down-to-earth principles, reports Vanity Fair.<\/span><\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

Perry, who appears on the cover of Vanity Fair’s June issue, spoke about life with Brand, saying, “He has never lied to me once. I trust him, there’s just a level of trust that we’ve built up”. The comedian recently posted a Twitter photo of his wife wearing no makeup in the middle of the night, but Perry says the stunt was all good fun, noting, “We were just messing around. I didn’t really care. I mean, when I go to rehearsals I look like that. I’m every woman. It takes a village to make me who I am”. The couple’s wedding was one of most highly anticipated events in Hollywood, but they chose not to sell their potentially lucrative wedding photographs. The 26-year-old explained the couple’s aversion to the media, saying, “The press is just not your friend when it comes to a marriage. That’s why we didn’t sell the pictures of our wedding, and we got offered millions of dollars for them – millions”.<\/span><\/p>\n

It was revealed this week that ‘Last Friday Night’ would be the next single to be released from Katy Perry’s best-selling album ‘Teenage Dream’. The song follows on from the smash hit singles ‘California Gurls’, ‘Firework’ and the album’s title track.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
