Good buzz: Cole loves the winning feeling with Chelsea<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Ashley Cole says the winning feeling is what drives him and his Chelsea team-mates on to further success.<\/p>\n

The reigning champions are right back in the Premier League title hunt ahead of a showdown with rivals Manchester United at Old Trafford on Sunday.<\/span><\/p>\n

While Cole has won every honour in the domestic game and is also England’s most capped left-back, he insists he is not resting on past laurels and craves much more glory.<\/span><\/p>\n

The 30-year-old told Chelsea magazine<\/em>: “When you win things, that’s what makes you realise how good it is.<\/span><\/p>\n

“I think the pressure is what drives people on. It makes you want to prove something, to carry on going and keep on winning things. I just want to win anything because I love the feeling.<\/p>\n

“When you stop getting that feeling, I think that’s when a lot of players tend to stop playing football because they haven’t got the desire any more.<\/p>\n

“I’ve still got many years of that desire left in me and the players we have here are all the same as me in that respect.”<\/p>\n

Playing better<\/h4>\n

Cole has not missed a Premier League game for Chelsea this season and believes he is playing better than ever as he prepares to go head to head with United winger Antonio Valencia on Sunday.<\/p>\n

“Last season I was missing training sometimes because of my ankle and then still playing,” he said.<\/p>\n

“But this season I’ve trained every day and played every game and it seems to be all right.<\/p>\n

“It’s not nice to rest sometimes, you lose your momentum, so I want to play every game.”<\/p>\n

He added: “Now I go into games thinking, ‘Let’s see if you can stop me running’, or, ‘I’m going to make you chase me’, rather than the other way around.<\/p>\n

“Instead of thinking about how they’re going to get past me, they’re going to be looking over their shoulders to see where I am.”<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
