The Jubilee Partners will on Thursday launch a travel exhibition as part of efforts to enhance understanding of the Jubilee Project and of Ghana\u2019s budding oil and gas industry.<\/p>\n
A statement issued in Accra on Wednesday by the Jubilee Partners said this was in response to the need to deepen understanding and ensure transparency around Ghana\u2019s oil find.<\/p>\n
\u201cThe exhibition, which is a mobile education and communication road show, will bring the exciting Jubilee story to the doorsteps of Ghanaians, and serve as a platform for education and information sharing on Ghana\u2019s new status as an oil producer. It will offer an opportunity to match the realities of the oil find with the huge expectations,\u201d the statement said.<\/p>\n
After the launch, it would be mounted in each regional capital for at least three days, the statement said.
Beginning from the Northern Region, it will proceed to the Upper East regional capital, Bolgatanga, and then to the Upper West Region before making its way towards the middle of the country.<\/p>\n
The statement said during the exhibition, traditional leaders, NGOs, tertiary and second cycle students, local authorities, the media and the public would have the opportunity to learn more about the Jubilee Project.<\/p>\n
Representatives of the Jubilee Partners would also be on hand to respond to queries from the public.
\u201cThe general public is encouraged to patronize the travel exhibition in all the regions in order to fully appreciate what has been happening in Ghana\u2019s Jubilee Field since the discovery of oil in commercial quantities in June 2007, to date,\u201d it said.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
